These one of a kind pieces are made using many layers of fabrics held together by hand embroidery called Kantha stitch. This traditional running stitch is done with multi coloured threads. These are handprinted with wooden blocks on a lightweight cotton Cambric fabric

The pattern of weaving is intricate

The embroidery is done by hand with unspun acrylic wool
