Kintyre Peninsula Bead amberThe Kintyre Peninsula is on the west coast of Scotland in the southern part of Argyll just across the water from Firth and Clyde. It is narrow and points towards Northern Ireland. It has amazing scenery and a very pretty part of Scotland to discover. It has a number of beautiful beaches and bays with sand, pebbles and rocks. Our Kintyre Peninsula bead is made using a core of white glass that is then encased in purple, which is inspired by the colours
emerald and yellow ochre we started by melting this onto a pea green glass which has then been enclosed and decorated
The colours found along the beach and the rugged coastline surrounding it inspires our Filey bead
Beware the rips at low tide and around the rocks

The Aberystwyth harbour trap is an exposed reef break located near the marina at the southern end of Aberystwyth promenade
We worked closely with Gemma to recreate her painting 'The Breaking Wave' into one of our iconic glass beads
Each bead is made with a small core of white glass which is rolled over grains of sand from your chosen beach before being encased with one of our streamer rods
It is then decorated in black ‘V’ shaped lines to represent the mountains
