DISTINCTIONS

Dr. Bernard Ars is an honorary doctor : "Doctor Honoris Causa" at the University "Carol Davila" of Bucharest (Romania) since 1999.
He has tenure of the "Dr. J.V. Desa" Memorial Plenary Lecture 2001, Chandigarh, India.
In 2002, he became a visiting-professor in the University of Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo and in the University of Lviv, "Danylo Halytskyi", in Ukrainia.
In 2006, he was recognized by the Societas O.R.L. Latina, for his scientific contribution in the field of oto-rhino-laryngology: "Bene Merendi per Excellentiam - Hic et Ubique".
The Sociedade Brasiliera of Otologia awarded, in 2008, the distinction "Rudolf Lang".
In 2010, he was named "Honorary Member" of the Hungarian Society of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology.
In 2011, he received the medal of "Professor Przemyslaw PIENIAZEK" as gratitude and cooperation. Uniwersytet Medyczny W BIALYMSTOKU, Poland.




He has won several scientific awards including the first Politzer Prize 1990.
He is a member of numerous international scientific societies and founder member of the "European Academy of Otology and Neurotology".
